Yay! Molly shoutouts are my favorite! *grin*

And yeah, 451 is in the process of doing a huge server upgrade, so things are a little wonky until it's finished and all the sites are imported to the new faster fabulous servers. *grin* It'll be fixed soon, I hope!

You realize that I'm forced to give you another shoutout to the Suxters for this first bit don't you?? ;)
And something is broken on your site here, the bit above the Blogging Flair bar has warnings about not being valid MySQL result resource.
Just thought you'd like to know.

She does have that habit - sometimes it's worse then others, like when she's really star struck. She doesn't use cue cards, but the little info cards, and does most everything off the cuff. It's' a little disconcerting at times, yes. Not all interviews are as bad as that one, though.

why does rachael ray keep talking over christie brinkley? over and over again, rachael would comment while christie was explaining something. it was so annoying. i have never watched the rachael ray show before. are all the interviews like this?

Susie,
Thanks for stopping by!

I think the answer to your cooking question about pasta is a matter of taste and preference. The reason to rinse pasta under cold water is to 'shock' it, and stop the cooking process. If you cook your pasta like Rachael does, to an 'al dente' (Sp?) state, where it's still got a little bite to it, it can continue to cook and stay warm as you put it together with the sauce. It keeps the meal hot and ready to eat in such a short time span.

Most of the recipes that ask for you to rinse the pasta that I've seen are for cold salads, or for dishes that will go into the oven or have further heating done to it, so that you don't overcook the pasta and end up with mush.

Not sure if that's her official take, but that's what I do in my own kitchen!

Thanks again for visiting!
