BEWBS! (Hi Google!)

by Lessa

Today’s first guests is one of the Desperate Housewives - Dana Delany! How tiny is SHE? She’s stunning even dressed casually. Rachael agrees, of course. They talk DH first, of course, and how cool it is to work on the set. Brie is the happy homemaker, and Delany plays the woman behind the woman. Any tidbits about the season? Dana says she’s the only single woman on the block so watch out!

Turns out - her first job was filmed in what is now RR’s studio, for a gum commercial, as well as a couple episodes of Edge of Night that she was on too. They talk about how she’s single at 52, and how people keep talking about it. She doesn’t understand why people always make such a big deal about it. She’s so busy, it would take someone extraordinary to get her to give up her freedom - she’s happy where she is. She feels lucky that she had the chance to figure herself out, as her friends are divorcing, the kids are leaving, and they’re feeling a little lost.

While Dana plays a cook on the DH set, it’s not surprising to find out that she likes to cook as well. It’s calming, and was her escape while her parents were going through a divorce.

She also turned down the roll of Brie before the show began, and is grateful that she got a second chance after it turned out to be such a huge hit. She didn’t hesitate at all when they came back to her and offer her another part. Hit up the giveaway button for the chance at the 4th season of Desparate Housewives on DVD!

Dana was part of the recent Stand Up for Cancer event as well, helping to raise $100 million, where Dana “got squished” with the cameras rolling, getting a mammogram on national TV. Two of her friends are survivors. They found a calcium deposit, and had to get rechecked but everything is fine. She does get regular checks now, because early prevention is the key. This is brought up because they have a mobile mammography unit outside, and all the women in the audience 40 or over will get free mammograms. Rachael will “get squished” if they do. It takes 5 minutes, and the results will be mailed. Racahel heads outside, and asks Dana to come with her for Moral Support as she gets her first Mammogram.

On the way, they laugh as Rachael tells the guys they have to turn around while she disrobes. Dana jokes that it was the hardest part - the guys watching her get hers. “No guy wants to see that!” they joke. Rachael asks a ‘ridiculous question’ and discovers there are no boobs too small to squish. She kicks out the boys and gets dressed again and it’s commercial time.

Check here to find a location near you to ‘get squished’ yourself!

When we get back, we check in with the Rachael To The Rescue RV, and see where they’re at now. Poor Michelle is baking challenged, and wants to help celebrate a friend’s birthday with an awesome cake. Elisa Strauss is on hand, the winner of the Extreme Cakes Challenge, to teach Michelle how to make an awesome cake. Click here to watch the lesson, the webisodes, and enter for the chance to win a Kenmore Elite Double Oven Range! Also, hit up the giveaway button for your chance to win a copy of Elisa’s Confetti Cakes for Kids cookbook! And here’s the recipe for the Chocolate Cake that Michelle and Elisa made.

It’s Double Duty Tip Time, where one viewer uses baby carrots to recork her wine bottle if she loses the cork, and another who doesn’t have a cheese grater, discovered that her daughter’s My Little Pony Snow Cone maker works as a cheese grater, too. *L*

So what’s for dinner? Smoky Roast Chicken with Maple Gravy and Smashed Root Veggies.
