A happy Solstice for The Rachael Ray Show!

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

OStalkshowEntertainment.jpg

The whole team at the Rachael Ray show is celebrating today - as they have been since last night, when the show beat out Ellen to take home the Outstanding Talk Show - Entertainment award! Ellen didn’t leave empty handed, of course, nabbing the Outstanding Talk Show Host for the gazillionth (3rd) time in a row. Ellen joked that it was weird to only be carrying one trophy, but then high jacked the microphone to announce Rachael Ray as she came into the room.

RRellen.jpg

When her named was announced, and Rachael Ray had this to say, “Wow! Holy cat! I really can’t breathe!” before giving the traditional thank everyone and their brother little speech - in which she gave most of the credit to her fans for making her show as big as it is.

RRemmy3_1.jpgOf course, everyone wants to know about the dress, right? Was Rachael a fashion do or don’t at the Awards? I think she was definitely in the ‘do’ category this time around, even if I wouldn’t have picked a dress that hugged her bodacious behind quite as much. She looked MUCH better this year then when she presented last year, and though her hair could have been styled a bit better, all in all this is the best she’s looked at an awards show yet. Well done, wardrobe team! Now if they could just get John to brush his hair and discover what his razor is for…

In other news, almost a year after we mentioned it the first time, Rachael and John finally closed on that cute little (hahahahah) house in the Hamptons. There was apparently a boundary line dispute between the previous owners and the nearby golfcourse, and it took until now to get settled in the courts, allowing Rachael and John to close on the $2.9 million property. Congrats on the award and the new digs, Rachael!

RRWednesday

- Repeat

What weighs 131 pounds and takes 9 hours to cook? You’ve got to see the biggest burger in America! Then Rach cooks up her version of the mile-high burger. Also, do products that claim to replace your coffee fix really work? We’ll put them to the test in our latest “Human Lab.” And, sexy TV doctor Tim Daly is talking about his steamy scenes with co-star Kate Walsh.

Then, why does actor Bryan Cranston keep stripping down on camera? And Lara is dishing up the music legend you won’t want to miss.

So you think you’re a RR lemming…

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

The picture is making the rounds of the internets, and is talked about while people are out shopping for their RR Terrorist Scarves, so that they can take their pictures and add them to the Scarfin’ Donuts site.

Find more photos like this on Scarfin' Donuts

Because we’re mature like that.

Anyway! At a recent book signing, Rachael was there innocently signing copies of her new Yum-o! Cookbook, and a gal whipped out her tattoo in order to show the perky cook. It seems she loves her enough to get Rachael Ray’s face permanently etched into her skin, on the back of her right shoulder.

booksigning5_31tat.jpg

So all you lemmings, take heart - we’ve found Rachael’s Number One Fan, so put the tattoo guns away - unless you really want too, because who am I to tell you what to decorate your body with? Especially when I’m advocating as much paisley scarf wearing as possible…

Speaking of what are you doing here? It’s a beautiful day outside (…somewhere, I’m sure…) so grab your favorite scarf, or get a new one here, and enjoy some coffee and a donut. Everyone’s doing it - see?

KTScarf.jpg

KT Tunstall - who Rachael adores, of course.

PeteAshley.jpg

Mr Ashley Simpson, Pete Wentz, never likes to be left out of the rebellious fun.

StellaMaeve.jpg

Stella Maeve attended a Party For A Purpose - but what nefarious purpose does that scarf imply?

I’m sure there are plenty more - if you spot a celeb, or even a regular joe, wandering around with questionable neckwear, be sure to let me know, snap a picture and we’ll ad them to the watch list. We can’t be too careful, after all. They might be joining Rachael in her quest to take over the world with nothing but EVOO and a Mopine!
